For creating a waiting room they took for example the best lounges in international airports around the world: there is a spa, children's play room, terrace with sun loungers, restaurant area with hot and cold snacks and main dishes that are prepareŠ² in the open kitchen by a local chef cook.
The waiting room is located on the second floor of the terminal for seaplanes TransMaldivian Airlines, where guests can watch the seaplanes' take off and landing. For guests of Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, the Beach House Maldfives, and Waldorf Astoria Resort the general waiting room is reserved, but for guests Hilton Maldives Iru Fushi there is a separate room. Passengers departing late at night, can also benefit from a waiting room instead of booking hotel rooms, by prior request. The waiting room is open every day from 07.00 a. m. till 11.00 p. m.
